Riga Technical University, Institute of Civil Engineering and Real Estate Economics

RTU has become a modern internationally recognized university, which conducts internationally competitive research and cooperates with reputa-ble international research institutions. The Institute of Civil Engineering and Real Estate Economics (ICEREE) provides important research related to in-ternal and external economic and working environment, construction eco-nomics and real estate economics and management, urban and territory development, as well as green economy and circular economy, which are highly related to energy efficiency and climate change aspects. ICEREE has experience in collaborating with national, regional and local authorities, as well as NGOs in cross-border and national projects.

Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO e.V.)

IWO has successfully accomplished a dozen projects on knowledge trans-fer between Germany and Eastern European countries. Experience in stakeholder management, advocacy, and policy making will be beneficial also to CLI-MA activities in Poland. Recently, IWO finished another EUKI project in Lithuania, during which vocational trainings for municipality staff were organised and provided. The good experience and lessons learnt from previous similar projects will help achieving the outcome and outputs of the.
